Social medias like Facebook, Instagram and tweeter made it easier for Filipinos to be vigilant and aware of the current situation. I believe that it is a good thing, as it is scary. We are all quite aware that not all posted on social media are not true, and because of the anonymity the internet offers, many will spread false and harmful information for monetary gain.
Social awareness is a good thing, and i would like to believe that it is also a sign of progress, but we should also think that being intelligent in choosing what to share and like is our responsibility and not just because it’s our personal platform.
